GCLA

GCLA first started back in 1979 as Groucho's Leatherwork. It all happened when I got my Brand New Harley Electra Glide in 1975, as I stripped it down and customised it, I realised its need for leather was a desperate one, back then internet wasn't even a dream, I had to shop around and no where had what I wanted, it dawned on me that I should make my own. 

 

Being a sheet worker I made my own bases, then brought some leather; it's a bit like cooking and once I had started it all came together wonderfully, infact I had several different saddles, tank panels, saddle-bags, tool rolls, leather tax disc holder and TASSLES! The best thing about this was that I had made it all myself. I wanted my bike to stand out and putting my own designs onto leather really did help my bike to stand apart from the crowd. 

 

Due to personal reasons I stopped making my products for a number of years but as of 2013 I have started up again and I don't plan on stopping. 

 

In fact as of this Year, we are now showing our products in Harley Davidson Southampton who are hoping to come out with a new range of customised bikes which we will be more than happy to help out with by custom making several different pieces for.  In April we will be at the Salisbury MAG Show, June we'll be at the Southampton MAG show at Gang Warily, hoping to go down to Popham Mega Meet and a couple others.
